African Leadership Person of the Year, Botswana 2025

The ALM Persons of the Year (POTY) is a flagship annual event of the African Leadership Magazine that has been consecutively held over the past 12 years, bringing together policymakers, private sector leaders, civil society leaders, thought leaders, and stakeholders from across Africa and the rest of the world to deliberate on issues concerning Africa’s socio-economic growth and development. The event has also evolved into a prestigious platform for honouring people-cantered leadership and Africans who are advancing a pan-African agenda in their respective fields of endeavour.
The 2024 edition witnessed the esteemed presence of H.E. Jakaya Kikwete, former President of Tanzania, who delivered the keynote address. Other high-profile participants included Right Hon. Cllr. J.
